Will Texas ever pass a immigration law?

Texas, recently, was unsuccessful in passing a very good bill that will help our immigration problems. Unfortunately, it was shot and killed by the House of republican majority which is shocking. Do you think Texas will ever pass a immigration bill?

I grew up in Texas. The year I was born it was 45% White and 45% Mexican and 10% other. Yes there were more on a percentage basis then. Mexicans attended the same chuches(Services were in Latin back then) Mexicans were our scout masters, our teachers, part of the ever present set of eyes in the Mom network that let us kids go play all over the neighborhood feeling free but not too free and always safe. Mexicans love their children and everybody else's too. Kids do not care what language you speak.

If you want real Texans to start hating Mexicans you are going to have to wait for us to die.

The year I was born air conditioning brought a wave of Yankees to Texas ruining our culture.

I'm sure they will. They rightfully recently executed a Mexican national because he raped and killed a 16-year-old American girl.

I'd call them dumb if they don't pass a law that allows them to check immigration status.

Oh, I'm sure they will try and may very well succeed however given the fact that immigration matters are the domain of the federal government its a wasted effort.

Yes, if enough pressure is placed on them by the electorate they will.

Yes...maybe a watered down version soon. Everify at the very least.
