What is the difference between Implicit Consent and Explicit Consent?

Especially when it comes to contract law. When is implicit consent sufficient and when if explicit consent necessary.

Especially when reading out every word of the agreement, contract, terms outloud is simply impractical, as it can take hours in certain cases.

Explicit agreement means the parties literally talk out the terms and agree to them in writing or verbally. Implied consent would be acting in accordance with the contract, i.e. you offer to pay me $400 to paint your house and buy the paint, I then I show up, use the paint and paint your house. You are now on the hook for the money
