Hello sir,

I completed  Diploma in Electrical Eng. Last year and i want to do Marine Electrical officer course.I want to know about the course & its future.Is it any demand of Electrical officer around the world.

Is it compulsory to give COC exam to become Elet. officer.

Dear Kannan,

I have replied so many people who wanted to become electrical officer on board ship. An electrical officer is not required to be on board. Does that indicate to you the usefulness of the position. Many ships do not have electrical officer. There is no need.

There is no COC exam for this.
