Postby Caster » Fri Sep 23, 2016 5:52 am

Hi Jim, my name is Dawn and last summer I lost my daughtet to a car accident, she was 20 ,and living with her boyfriend at the time, after she passed he set up a bank account where people could money in it to help with her daughter ,whom we've adopted ,and any of her expenses. We have learned that there has been 2 with drawals from the account and we know know there was money in there and the boyfriend says there was none.Isnt it illegal to set up this kind of account and not give it to the person/child that deserves it and whos name the memorial was made for ?Thank you for your help. Sincerely, Dawn

Dawn, Illegal, yes probably criminal fraud. If the boyfriend set up the account he probably had the right to withdraw funds. If you had knowledge and proof that funds were used for something other than what was "advertised", then I wuld suggest talking to the local D.A.'s office. Jim
