John 8:58

Powerful and masterful exposition Bro. Rando. Truth is really powerful once you know it.

Request:  Can you please elaborate more on John 8:58? Why Trinitarians like to use it and how it was twisted to support their doctrine? And what is the real meaning of John 8:58?

Thanks

John 8:58

Holy Ghost why are you

"Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am."  (John 8:58 KJV)

Trinitarians use this verse to prove their Doctrine. Does it?  Can Jesus really be the(theon)?  First of all, there is no Greek Word for God in this translation at all.  SO let's look what they are referring to.

The Greek words are eg? eimi which means I have been or I existed. Eg? is a pronoun and eimi is a verb.  They are not Nouns in claiming to be a title or a name.  Jesus never stated, "I am God". So what did he mean?  Jesus was pointing to a time that he existed before Abraham existed. Matter of fact, all angels existed before Abraham.http://biblos.com/john/8-58.htm

Now, I want to draw your attention to the word eg?. Eg? is simply a pronoun meaning I in the(first person).  So the trinitarian will twist scripture and grammar to say, See, Jesus is the First Person of the Trinity! He is God, Jesus is Jehovah, the Son is the Father! The Trinitarian just struck down his own doctrine and he is boasting?  What happened to the "three separate persons"??http://strongsnumbers.com/greek/1473.htm

Transliteration: eimi, Short Definition: I am, exist, The "I am formula(Gk eg? eimi)" harks back to God's only name, "Yahweh"  http://strongsnumbers.com/greek/1510.htm

The problem with Jesus being the first person, is according to their own Trinity Doctrine, the Son is not the Father at any time.  http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/b3/Shield-Trinity-Scutum-Fidei-E...

I even forced the Champion of the Trinity to admit that,("First, I would never use John 10:30 to prove that Jesus is the Father, because Jesus is not the Father.") Quote from Derrick Holland.

The scripture and teaching that Jesus taught was that Jehovah alone was the only God to be worshiped. “It is written, ‘It is Jehovah your God you must worship, and it is to him alone you must render sacred service.’”(Luke 4:8) Oh by the way, he states(theon) in referring to Jehovah your God. http://biblos.com/luke/4-8.htm

Of course they deny this and call Jesus a Liar, Jesus is to be worshiped, he is Jehovah.  Blah, blah, blah.  Satan wants so bad to be like God, that anyone who believes in this Demon infested doctrine is struck with blindness. SO here is how to reason with a trinitarian, If Jesus is the(I am) or the greater(I am) then what happened to the Father? What Happened to the Holy Ghost? When did God change? Does the Truth Change?  How come the Trinity keeps changing? Which Trinity do you believe in? No really, I am Curious!  hehehe Get it? I used(I am).

Gabriel used the(I am) in Daniel in reference to Michael. "Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days."(Daniel 10:14 KJV) "Listen, O Israel: Jehovah our God is one Jehovah."(Duet 6:4) Where is Jesus?  Where is the Holy Ghost? How come it doesn't say Jehovah our God is one trinity??  Did the Trinity go on vacation?? How come the Trinity is always missing in the scripture just when you need him most?? LOL

When the Jews sacrificed, did they make any sacrifices to the Son?  How about the Holy Ghost?  No, none?  Just Jehovah alone??  Ummmmmmmm.....
