I don't want to stay in the room with boyfriend's family?

Postby melville » Thu Dec 15, 2011 12:25 pm

My boyfriend and I have been dating for about 4 months now and his cousin is getting married in February and I've been invited. It's is going to be 8 of us including his parents, me, him, his brother, brother in law, sister, and future sister in law. The hotel room are a little bit pricey (135 per night) and they want to split a room between 6 of us (his parents will have their own room). The thought of sharing a room with 5 other people, 4 or which I will be meeting for the first time sounds horrible. His sister will be very pregnant and there will be 3 couples, so my bf and I will most likely get the floor... I don't know how sleeping arrangements are working. We will all have to share one bathroom and one room and I just think it will be too crowded.

I'm thinking about telling my boyfriend that I'd just like to sleep and get ready at my house and then meet them in orlando for one of the day that they will be there. And then, even though it wont be comfortable, I may spend the night on the night of the wedding just in case I end up having a few drinks because I know everyone else will be drinking. Do you think he'd be mad at me for wanting to spend one of the nights at my house instead of spending it in the crowded room with his family?
