Clocking In And Out

If I clock in 1 min late or earlier can they give me an infraction? If I clock out for lunch 1 min late after the 5 hour clause can they give me an infraction? Would they get a fine if I were to be late by 1 min?

Margie - Only employers can set work rules, so there is nothing the law can do about this situation.  If you are paid for all of the time you work but are subject to disciplinary rules, the Department of Labor cannot be of assistance.  The rules sound like an attempt to avoid wage and hour violations, but they also seem a bit extreme.  I'm sorry if that is what you have to deal with at your place of employment.
