Carl's Jr. Personal Injury

Postby Ramzi » Sun Dec 04, 2016 3:31 pm

In April, while returning to Idaho from a trip to Mexico, I ordered a meal from the drive thru at Carl's Jr in El Centro, CA. While eating the sandwich I broke a tooth on a piece of bone(or other hard object) in the sandwich. Immediately called CJ and informed them.  Had tooth repaired when I got back to Idaho. Submitted claim to CJ for dental costs. Claim denied as I didn't keep the piece of bone that caused the injury.

Do I have any further recourse?

Thanks.

Hi, Shawn. I don't think it's necessary to have a bone in order to prove your injury and damages although it would be helpful. I am an attorney in California(San Francisco). If you would like to discuss this further, let me know.
