Broken Titanum Screw

Only an orthopedic surgeon or neurosurgeon could explain what might have gone wrong. I simply don't know. What it a mistake by the surgeon, was the screw defective, was it just "one of those things"(which is most likely)? One thing you can do is find out the exact name, brand and other identifying info re the particular screw. It would be in the surgical record. Then go online and see if there is any legal action regarding that screw. Can't offer much more. Again, only a surgeon might have an honest explanation. Good luck.
