Are there any uk credit card providers who offer car rental insurance for USA?

I would like to hear from anyone who has used their UK credit card to pay for car rental in USA. Has the card offered any benefit to you? In California, when you go to rent the car, you are offered 3 options; 1. PAI - Personal accident insurance (covers yourself, injury, death etc); 2. Damage waiver (covers damage to the rental vehicle); 3. Personal Liability (covers you incase you are sued by another person, or the establishment for damage to property as a result of you crashing into something/someone).
All of these options, if taken, add up to a substantial amount of money! Sometimes doubling or tripling the daily cost of renting the car. I have heard of some credit cards offering a basic level of insurance for renting a vehicle. Do you know which card companies offer this?
I have 3 credit cards, all of which I have contacted already and they tell me I have no coverage for such thing. These cards are Halifax Mastercard, BA Amex, & Post Office Platinum MC.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
